The strong natural presence of the forest and the need to protect the environment led us to a proposal for a non-intrusive system of buildings informed by pond and forest views and a simple system of construction, that uses locally sourced materials. 

The programme is separated into different buildings. This gave greater flexibility in plan configuration and makes the visual impact less prominent in the landscape. Built on post foundations that minimises groundwork, the buildings are accessed and linked by a raised pathway
